Admission Requirements
General Requirements (apply to all candidates)
  1. A completed IUMN application.
  2. A copy of a valid photo-ID (drivers license/green card/passport, etc.)
  3. A copy of a GED, high school, or college/university degree or transcript.
  4. A letter of recommendation from a school, teacher, local mosque or Islamic organization.
  5. A non-refundable admission fee of $25.00.
  6. Applicants under 18 years of age must have their guardian’s approval.
Bachelor's Degree Admission Requirements
  1. A completed IUMN application.

Master's Degree Admission Requirements
  1. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.8 on a 4-point scale.
  2. Two letters of recommendation from professors or well-known scholars.
  3. Passing an IUMN qualifying test.
  4. Passing an IUMN admissions interview.
PhD Degree Admission Requirements
  1. A Master's degree from an accredited university with a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4-point scale.
  2. Two letters of recommendation from professors or well-known scholars.
  3. Passing an IUMN qualifying test.
  4. Passing an IUMN admissions interview.
