    • Punctuality is essential for any student admitted to a program based on direct teaching. A student is not allowed to be inexcusably absent from classes for more than 15% of required hours for each course or will be considered to have dropped the course. A student may be allowed absence-with-excuse for up to 25% of required hours for each course, based on the approval of the department teaching the course.
  2. Grading Policy
    • IUMN follows a dual grading system- Alphabetical and Percentage. This means that a student will receive two evaluations in his record, reflecting the same grade: A letter from A-F and a percentage from 60%-100%.
    • A (90% - 100%)
    • B (80% - 89%)
    • C (70% - 79%)
    • D (60% - 69%)
    • F (below 60%)
  3. Policies of dropping and/or adding courses
    • Students are allowed to add and/or drop courses during the initial designated period of registration at the beginning of each semester. Student's transcript will not show dropped courses.
    • A student is allowed to withdraw from a course only during the first eight weeks after the designated registration period of winter or fall semesters and two weeks after the designated registration period of summer semester.
  4. Policies of credit transfer
    • A student may transfer credits either from IUMN or only from accredited university or institution.
    • A student transferring to the IUMN Bachelor's program will have to meet admission conditions applicable at the time of transfer.
    • IUMN will not accept transferring students fired from other universities.
    • IUMN reserves the right to decide about the number of credits a student can transfer.
    • Transferred students can be admitted only at the beginning of a semester.
  5. Policies of changing major, or specialization
    • The new department - to which the student transfers - may accept transferring all the credit hours accumulated by the student from other majors as long as such credit hours conform with the coursework requirements of the new major. The transferred credit hours shall count in the student's GPA.
